Sepulveda Field House

This field house in the San Fernando Valley's Sepulveda Recreation Center serves as an entry pavilion to the park. Working with the landscape architecture firm Land Images, Killefer Flammang is designing the two-building complex. Two rows of undulating utility poles flank the pedestrian passage between the two buildings.  The poles are connected to steel channels that extend from the roofs of the buildings with a hinge connection that varies in height at each pole. The use of utility poles for light columns will be repeated throughout the park.
