Bel Air Bar & Grill

KFA's design for the Bel Air Bar & Grill adds 50% more space to the original restaurant, a local favorite for over 50 years. A new 3-story 7500 SF office building adjoins the restaurant, and the two uses are linked by a dramatic 2-story lobby.

Visible from the 405 freeway, the lobby curtain wall is a profusion of translucent red bougainvillea, created by artist Amanda Weil. Diners can enjoy views to the Getty Museum from the Sunset Room, an event space located on the second floor of the office building.

Expected to achieve a LEED Gold rating, the building features rooftop solar hot water paneis, and is clad in porcelain tile, plaster and metal panels.
